Ilm un Nahw (Arabic syntax) is the branch of Arabic grammar that governs sentence structure and the case endings words take at their ends. In the Wifaq-ul-Madaris curriculum it is taught in the first year of Thanawiya Aama.
Ilm un Nahw is one of the two core sciences of Arabic grammar (the other being Ilm us Sarf).
